It's not that I don't like the store (or ACME itself), it's the fact that they don't have any self-serve checkout options!! In some cases, self checkout can be annoying because the kiosks sometimes detect theft or other issues that are not true at all, but when 68 (yes, I counted....) people are trying to pay for their groceries, having self checkout can be a real life-saver (not to mention time saver) because self checkout registers allow for quicker checkout, giving more people a chance to checkout in a short period of time. Even despite all that, the store itself is very clean, well-stocked, and bright! The only thing that caused the store to lose points on MY record is the checkout experience. TIP FOR MANAGER: Add some freaking self serve checkout kiosks and be quick about it!!!!!
While the selection is great (and just got better with their new expansion, which added a Starbucks and beer/wine/liquor section), the wait times are insane! I avoid shopping here, mostly for that reason (they're also a little pricier than other places in the area).
Rotisserie chicken is the best
hot food area has cold chicken. Very expensive for what you get. More bone than chicken that you pay for in weight.
Wow, this place is in total disrepair. Walls and (possibly asbestos?) floors torn up. We both had a severe physical reaction walking in, which makes sense because it smells like mold in there. We also weren't the only ones. I don't understand how they're still open with all this going on. What happened, Acme? The store used to be so nice. Do the right thing and close down during extensive renovations for the safety of your employees and customers.
